Infant & Toddler Learning Program

At Roman Avery, we believe that even the youngest learners thrive through exploration, play, and meaningful interactions with the world around them. Our program is designed for children 6 weeks to 3 years old, providing a nurturing, engaging environment where infants and toddlers begin building a foundation for academic, social, and emotional development through hands-on experiences, movement, and outdoor exploration.

Age Groups:

• Infants & Young Toddlers: 6 weeks – 24 months
• Older Toddlers: 18 months – 35 months

Our classrooms follow a structured yet flexible routine that includes music, literacy, early math, sensory exploration, and plenty of outdoor play. Around 24 months, potty training may become a focus, and our teachers provide one-on-one support to reinforce your efforts at home.

Every child is given individualized attention in a rich, play-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Our teachers focus on the following core areas:

• Social & Emotional Development – Building confidence, independence, and early communication skills through nurturing relationships.
• Creative Expression – Exploring art, music, and movement as a form of self-expression.
• Learning Through Play – Constructing, organizing, and applying knowledge through hands-on exploration and sensory experiences.
• Language & Literacy Development – Strengthening vocabulary, early communication, and pre-reading skills through storytelling, songs, and interactive play.
• Mathematical Thinking – Introducing foundational math concepts such as counting, patterns, and problem-solving through play.
• Scientific Discovery – Encouraging curiosity about the natural world through hands-on exploration, sensory play, and outdoor experiences.
• Outdoor Learning & Nature Exploration – Our 3.5-acre outdoor learning lab provides daily opportunities for children to interact with bunnies, ducks, chickens, a full garden, and more, helping them build a connection to nature while developing fine and gross motor skills.

Our infant and toddler program nurtures the whole child—providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where little ones learn, grow, and explore the world around them.

Program Offerings:

Infant Program: 4 months - 24 months

Full Day Options 8:00am to 4:30pm

• You choose the number of days per week (5 days a week, 3 days a week, or 2 days a week)
• Infants to 12 months old: parents must provide all food items & formula (breastmilk)
• Children 12m-24m - breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks provided
• Offered:
• 2 days (T/T) $560 a month
• 3 days (M,W,F) $840 a month
• 5 days a week ( M-F) $1400 a month

Toddler Care 24m -35m (2yrs. 11m)

Full Day Options 8:00am to 4:30pm

• You choose the number of days per week (5 days a week, 3 days a week, or 2 days a week)
• Breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks provided
• Offered:
• 2 days (T/T) $503 a month
• 3 days (M,W,F) $732 a month
• 5 days a week ( M-F) $1225 a month
